Winx Club is an animated series created by Iginio Straffi. Nickelodeon became involved in the production of Winx Club after Viacom (Nickelodeon's parent company) became a co-owner of the show's animation studio (Rainbow) in 2011.
Something truly magical has happened to Bloom, an ordinary girl who discovers she's really a fairy with extraordinary powers! Bloom learns to use her magical powers at the finest fairy school in all the realms, Alfea College. At school, she meets her new best friends, Stella, Flora, Musa, Tecna and Aisha, and forms the Winx Club. Together, they study hard in school, hang out at their favorite spots in Magix and go on lots of exciting adventures. When faced with trouble, they transform into beautiful fairies and save the world from all sorts of villains, like The Trix, a trio of evil witches. The following is a list of episodes of Winx Club. Following Viacom's purchase, Nickelodeon relaunched the franchise with four hour-long specials, the first of which premiered on June 27, 2011. Nickelodeon then produced the new fifth, sixth and seventh seasons of Winx Club. The channel also aired the earlier seasons 3 and 4, re-recorded with Nickelodeon's voice actors. Some episodes from the sixth season, and all of the seventh season, only aired on the Nick Jr. channel between August 2015 to April 2016.
